Owner & Lead Arborist, Elevated Arboriculture

Ethan Benson is the owner and lead arborist of Elevated Arboriculture, a Peterborough-based tree care and forestry company committed to sustainable practices and the highest standards of arboriculture.

A graduate of both the Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Programs at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Ethan is a Certified Arborist registered with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a licensed chainsaw trainer.

Ethan’s expertise spans the full spectrum of tree and forest management, from residential pruning and removals to large-scale reforestation and ecological restoration. As a Planting Delivery Agent for Forests Ontario’s 50 Million Tree Program, he plays an active role in advancing reforestation and climate resilience across Ontario.

Driven by a deep respect for trees and the people who live among them, Ethan built Elevated Arboriculture to combine science-based tree care, environmental stewardship, and professional integrity. His approach emphasizes education, safety, and collaboration, ensuring clients receive both expert service and meaningful understanding of their trees’ long-term health.
